Belfrey Hall is located down an alley off Stonegate in one of the oldest courtyards in York. The alley is through the black door between Zatchels and Berry’s. Above the black door it says ‘St Michael Le Belfrey Hall’ and ‘Trembling Madness Apartmets’! Walk straight through the alley, up the few stairs in the building in front of you and into Belfrey Hall.

You get to Belfrey Hall off Stonegate (this

As Belfrey Hall is a city centre location there is
no onsite parking.
However, there is plenty of nearby parking less than
10 minutes walk away.
There are the council run carparks for example:
Bootham Row (the closest), Monk Bar,
Foss Bank, Marygate car...
If you are a York
Resident you can get a York Minster Badge
which reduces the cost of parking in these
car parks.
There is some on street parking options outside
of the city centre.
There is Sainsburys at Foss Bank which
is free after 5pm.
There are several bus routes and park and ride busses that pick up and drop off close to the minster, which is only a few minutes walk from Belfrey Hall.
There are cycle parking spread around the
town centre.
However, you can bring your bike into the courtyard
infront of Belfrey Hall where there are
some railings you can lock your bike to.
